My photography is influenced by the motto I owe to Quintus Horatius Flaccus (Horace 65-8 BC) which was popularised by Mr Keating (Robin Williams ) in 'Dead Poets' Society': 'Carpe Diem ..... Seize the Moment!" To take the photos I had to ensure I got to the event I intended to photograph or exploit the moment I chanced upon..... 'Carpe Diem' .... Grab the Photo!
